sunday thoughts
random things making me happy now, in list form, because lists comfort me.
1. this weather. seriously. it is FINALLY fall outside - bright blue skies, merry sun, and cool. i can wear cardigans and scarves now.
2. directly related to the weather: i now have an excuse to buy boots. mmm, boots.
3. one excellent weekend with the manfriend. enough said.
4. puppies. i mean, really. puppies are just awesome.
5. the pumpkin square i had at a coffee shop this morning. now i’m trying to figure out what to make that is fall-appropriate and kinda spicy and sweet and delicious. orange-infused spice cupcakes? something with cinnamon?
6. reading about ina garten (the barefoot contessa) - dude. seriously? she is clearly a bad-ass. and the best kind of bad-ass - a secret ninja bad-ass. read her wikipedia page - if that is accurate, i want to be her when i grow up.
7. the beatles, playing now in my living room.
8. dexter season 4 arrives via netflix tomorrow and y’all, i am SO excited. i love me some serial killer tv show. also, michael c hall is pretty.
